The well-known singer Aurela Gaçe, in a recent interview, talked about her artistic career over the years and shared her experience of how she managed to be a 'diva' on stage. She said that she has often thought about giving up her passion for music.
For the show 'Wait for me on the weekend', she said that in the music market where many young singers are covered with gimmicks and marketing, it is difficult and has often made her feel betrayed.
"It is very difficult to be in time, you have some feelings of your own that can call you backward. The passion does not disappear, I must put my intelligence to work and put my soul at the service of the passion, not losing those who loved me but also making new fans. The young generation doesn't win their hearts with the song 'Nata', so you have to find new connections with the young audience", says Aurela.
Asked where a person finds adrenaline today, she says that she had great self-confidence and believed that she would always move forward.
"Since I was little, my family used to hold me a little like then after I sang, and when I finished they applauded. Trust develops over time. When I came to Tirana, I had a confidence that I have something and I want you to listen to me", said the singer.
Aurela also talks about the current situation of music and according to her it is an unfair competition.
"I have more patience than before, it's the change of time that sometimes makes me want to give up, I feel it's an unfair competition. It is covered with many gimmicks, marketing who does not have the power of money feels betrayed. Sometimes I think about quitting, but when I go out in public I realize that this is my filling. I say 'oh my god, I never quit'. I have a hard time seeing myself away from the stage, I feel like I'm denying myself. I was born in this country, it gave me love, I am grateful to those who applauded me", concluded the artist.
