Bebe Rexha recently spent a few days in Romania, where she was invited to perform at the 'Intencity' music festival in the city of Craiova. In addition to her successful performance in front of the Romanian audience, the 35-year-old singer, after more than a decade, reunited with her Romanian friend, Stella, whom she had not seen for many years.
In a photo posted on InstaStory, Bebe wrote: "Stella and I met when we were 18 years old, in college. We were trying to achieve something. No money. Only with dreams. We walked for hours around New York and talked. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard like this. We haven't seen each other in over 10 years."
Inspired by this experience, Bebe Rexha then shared a touching message to her Instagram followers, reflecting on the advice she wishes she had given her younger self.
What I wish I had told my younger self: Don't worry so much about finding love. It will come. Focus on living a full life. Follow your dreams. Pursue your passions. Perfect your art. Make real friends. Dance. Wear your favorite clothes and go out on a date with yourself. Dress for yourself. You don't have to perform to win love. There's something so much more romantic about a life fulfilled this way. Live as if you are the love of your life because you really are. The love that may come from someone else may be just around the corner, but it will never compare to the love you give yourself. So let it wait.
