Bella Hadid shared photos from a hospital room during her battle with Lyme disease, and her supermodel sister Gigi publicly wrote some words of support.
In several photos shared on Instagram, Bella is seen receiving an intravenous injection in a hospital bed. In one, she covers her mouth in pain, and in another, she looks flushed as she covers her forehead with a bandage.
The Orebella perfume creator also shared photos of herself in a Pikachu T-shirt, a photo with playing cards, and a shot of a pizza dinner in her hospital bed. A recent photo showed her huddled in the corner of an elevator while sipping a coffee. “I’m sorry, I always say ‘Mia!’ I love you guys,” she wrote in the caption of the photos.
Her sister, Gigi, was among the first to comment:
"I love you! I hope you feel strong and well, you deserve it, soon!!!!!!," she wrote. "
"Lyme disease fighter," wrote mother Yolanda Hadid.
Fans also took to the comments with encouraging words, with one writing: "Wishing you a speedy recovery." Another added: "Stay strong, you will get through this Queen!!!!"
Although the "Frankie's Bikinis" model did not specify the reason for her hospitalization, she gave a detailed update on her Lyme disease treatment in a similar post from a hospital in 2023.
Yolanda, 61, who has also been diagnosed with Lyme disease, revealed that Bella and her brother, Anwar, 26, were diagnosed in 2012 during an emotional speech in 2015.
“This award is for Anwar and Bella,” she said while being honored at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala. “This is my symbol and my promise to you that I will not allow you to live a life of pain and suffering.”
Bella and her family members aren't the only celebrities battling chronic illness — Justin Timberlake announced his diagnosis with the "debilitating" disease in July.
