Reconciliation efforts fail, divorce between Ben and JLo is imminent

Jennifer Lopez's breakup with Ben Affleck is sure to cost a lot!

Friends have confirmed to the DailyMail that the 'Last Duel' actor, 51, and the superstar singer, 55, are once again moving ahead with their divorce after attempts at reconciliation in recent weeks failed.

The pair have not been seen in each other's company for months and even at JLO's birthday party, Affleck was nowhere to be seen. Multiple sources have told DailyMail that the divorce papers 'have been finalised, but have not yet been submitted'.

The news comes shortly after Affleck bought a new $20.5 million Palisades Pacific mansion on Wednesday, July 24, the day Lopez turned 55.

Friends of Lopez claimed that Affleck's surprise purchase of the mansion on her birthday had been a 'stab in the heart'.

July 24 also marked the day Lopez finalized the sale of her four-bedroom New York City apartment for $23 million, People reported.
