Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly ended their relationship after nearly 10 years together.
"Katy and Orlando have split, but the split has been amicable," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
"There are no conflicts at the moment. Katy is of course upset, but she feels relieved that she doesn't have to go through another divorce, as it was the most difficult period of her life."
According to this source, the relationship between them has been "tense for months," so the separation "was inevitable and expected."
The "Teenage Dream" hitmaker — who is currently on her "Lifetimes" tour — is coping with the breakup while keeping busy with her music career.
The source also added that Perry is renting out her villa in the Westcott area of Montecito, California, while she continues to travel and perform around the world.
"She and Orlando have always lived in their other home in Montecito as their primary residence," the source explained.
Initially, the former couple had planned for the house in Westcott to become their family home, but plans have changed, and they have been living apart since Katy began her tour.
