Famous American actor and comedian Andy Dick was filmed taking a drug overdose on a Los Angeles street, as passersby approached him and tried to help him.
TMZ has released a video of the actor, who is seen sitting on the stairs and losing consciousness. According to passersby, he had taken an overdose and immediately called an ambulance.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman told the media that they had received a call about a 59-year-old man who had overdosed and was not taken to the hospital. Andy Dick later told the aforementioned media that he had been smoking cocaine with an unknown man he had met on the streets of Los Angeles. He stated that he sometimes smokes cocaine.
"There was a man my age there and I felt sorry for him. He has children, he was depressed and he was sitting on the sidewalk. Then he asked for cocaine and I thought, 'You know what? Maybe I need some of that,'" he said.
The famous actor has suffered from drug and alcohol addiction for many years.
