Laura Pausini left social networks: They caused me anxiety

Famous singer Laura Pausini has decided to leave social media, at least for a while. The Italian singer, one of the most beloved voices on the international scene, has confessed that being in front of the screen was taking up her time and damaging her concentration:

He announced the news himself in an Instagram Story, calling this step a kind of personal "promise":

"I've decided to do a digital detox. To remove all social media from my phone."
A "digital detox" in the full sense of the word. Her social media accounts remain active, but Laura has chosen not to be as present as before on the personal level. Work posts will follow concerts, albums, professional news, but the "private" part will be moved away from the screen.

The decision came at the same time as the release of Biagio Antonacci's song "Ritorno ad Amare", a song that Pausini holds dear and which will be part of her album Io canto 2, but also as a separate single. It was this song that became the spark for a concrete change in her life.

"In recent weeks, with the arrival of Ritorno ad Amare, I decided to do something concrete for myself, because this song is an impetus to return to loving ourselves. I needed it. I was spending too much time in front of the screen and this was causing me anxiety and stress," Laura Pausini confesses.
Social networks, from a means of communication with the public, had turned into a heavy presence, eroding her peace of mind.

Pausini says that the pressure to always be there, to read and respond, was starting to weigh on him:

“Sometimes I couldn't sleep because I thought I hadn't been able to read and respond to all the messages.”
The controlled withdrawal from social media is helping him catch his breath:

“Returning to my life is allowing me to feel calmer and more focused on the real people around me. With sunlight, not the artificial light of a smartphone.”
For Laura, returning to everyday life without endless notifications is a way to bring attention back to what is real: family, friends, work, music, life off the screen.

Even when she accidentally logs back into her profiles, Laura says she feels no regret for the decision she made; on the contrary, she sees the toxic side of the online world even more clearly:

"Today I spent 10 minutes on various social networks and found a relentless hatred against everyone and everything. I was scared," she says.
Her message is direct:

"Be careful not to fall into this trap that can really make you feel bad. The most important thing is your health, which must be protected at all costs."
According to the singer, we as a society have failed to use social media simply as a bridge between people:

"We haven't been able to use social media to connect and get closer. It's become a place where all the anger and hatred is vented."

Laura Pausini's decision to retire from social media is not a rebellion against technology, but a conscious choice to protect her mental health, time, and self-love.
