Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur's death, new claims have reignited the mystery surrounding his murder, involving Suge Knight, Diddy, and Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur.
In a recent interview from prison, Suge Knight claimed that Tupac asked to end his suffering after the shooting and that Afeni respected his wish by instructing doctors not to resuscitate him.
“She told them, 'Don't bring it back,'” Knight said.
Knight also reviewed a 2009 police interview in which Duane “Keefe D” Davis, now awaiting trial, alleged that Diddy offered $1 million to orchestrate the murder. Diddy has consistently denied any involvement, and police say he was never a suspect. However, the re-indictment comes as he faces other unrelated charges in New York.
And then the cremation happened. Knight says Afeni requested that it be performed immediately, against Tupac's known wishes. According to Knight, some of Shakur's ashes were later scattered by his closest friends.
