A recent episode of Prime Minister Edi Rama's podcast, focused on aesthetic interventions and plastic surgery, has highlighted a painful truth that refutes the propaganda promoted by the prime minister himself.
Journalist Ujeza Doshlani has shared her traumatic experience after an aesthetic intervention with doctor Vilma Tafili, who was introduced as an expert on the Ramws podcast.
Doshlani has published images showing serious facial injuries, which she says are the result of the Repeat Clinic procedure. She says the trauma was not only physical, but also had a major impact on her professional and psychological life, leading to suspension from work and ongoing stress.
"This public discussion was not just another episode about aesthetics. For me, it was a painful return to what I experienced a year ago and which Rama's propaganda for this sector tries to present as normal and without consequences," says Doshlani.
Her denunciation has sparked a wide-ranging debate on the safety of aesthetic interventions, the responsibility of private clinics, and the need for patient protection, showing that the reality of patients often contradicts the image spread by the authorities.
