Shakira seems to have recovered from her past and has thus launched her world tour "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" (Women Don't Cry Anymore), starting in Brazil.
This is the first stop of 30 or more concerts that the Colombian singer will perform in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, North America and Canada.
Ahead of her performance at Rio de Janeiro's 'Nilton Santos' stadium, Shakira shared a lengthy post on her personal social media account, saying that she began rehearsals "a year ago", working "14 hours a day" with the aim of making the show the best of her life.
As the singer wrote in detail in her post: "Today is the day." I am currently writing these lines from my dressing room. The reflection in the mirror gives me the image of a woman who has given her last breath in every rehearsal, in every chord, in every step."
"I know that perfection does not exist, but I know that tonight I will give you my true self with my voice sharpened by experience and my body scarred by every battle I have won and lost," Shakira added, among other things.
The "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" tour, organized by Live Nation, is taking place on the occasion of the release of the album of the same name, which a few days ago gave Shakira a Grammy Award.
The choice of Brazil for the start of the world tour is not at all accidental, as the singer has expressed her special love for the country, which 'embrace' her music from the very beginning, when she was only 18 years old.
