Debates inside the Big Brother VIP Albania house seem to be increasingly going beyond the scope of the show, including the residents' families.
The strong clash between Mir and Selini has continued to be commented on for a long time, especially after the last show, where Selini's decision to stay in the competition was discussed, despite her parents' request to leave.
After this situation, Miri's wife, Rabea Shihi, reacted publicly, directing direct criticism at moderator Ledion Liço.
In a post on InstaStory, she raised suspicions of unequal treatment on the show, implying that Selini is being favored due to her influence on social media.
With an ironic tone and strong comparisons, Rabea has juxtaposed the many years of experience of her husband and public figures like Monika Kryemadhi, with the online popularity of the new contestant. She suggests that fame on social networks is being placed over contribution and long career in art or politics:
"Dostoevsky has an expression: 'The highest form of slavery is to glorify a 23-year-old presenter as more famous than a 46-year-old singer with a 30-year career and more famous than a former political commentator, also with a 3-decade career, because the former has more followers on Instagram than the latter two.'"
Of course, we have our doubts whether the expression is Dostoevsky's, but perhaps Rabea has made an adaptation.
