In an interview on The Graham Norton Show, the singer apologized to all her fans for canceling her This Is Me… Live tour at the time to spend time with her family.
"I would like to apologize to the fans, because I know many of them were prepared. I actually, I saw fans here that told me, that was really touching, after they came out of the hotel yesterday, somebody said, “Oh, I had tickets to go see you,” and I said, “I miss you so much sorry, sorry" and he said: "Don't apologize. We love you. I immediately started crying."
At that time, a guy in the audience admitted to being the fan she was dating, and Lopez exclaimed, “Was that you?! Oh God.”
Later, the actress got up from her seat and hugged the fan. She went on to say.
"I got into the car and cried. Honestly, it was very hard for me to cancel and I've never done it before. I'm sorry.”
