The presenter of the MTV Awards, Rita Ora paid a very emotional tribute during her appearance on stage for her friend, Liam Payne, who passed away a few weeks ago when he tragically fell from the balcony of the hotel where he was staying, in Argentina.
Rita Ora, who duetted with Payne on the song "For You" in 2018, became emotional as she spoke about the One Direction star at the end of the event.
Speaking on stage at the MTV Europe Awards in Manchester, she described Payne as one of the kindest people she has ever known.
“He had the biggest heart and was always the first person to offer help in any way he could. He brought so much joy to every room he walked into and left such a mark on the world,” she said.
