Many family members, friends and colleagues have gathered at the Dragodan neighborhood cemetery in Pristina to bid farewell to the renowned artist Shemsi Krasniqi, leader of the group "Ilirët".
His loss has created a deep void in the Albanian artistic scene, where his voice and talent served for decades, leaving an unforgettable mark on the country's music and culture.
On this difficult day, familiar and beloved faces of the deceased were seen near the family. Shemsedin's son received many condolences, while his nephew, singer Kastriot Grajçevci, did not hide his pain for the loss of his uncle - a figure who was also an inspiration for his musical journey.
The farewell of Shemsi Krasniqi brought together well-known names of the Albanian pop scene, who shared the stage and moments of joy with him for many years. Among those present was rapper Gold AG, who has often expressed high respect for Krasniqi's contribution and artistic values.
