Rapper and social media influencer Lil Tay is alive and well. She has given an interview to TMZ where she says that she is not physically harmed and her brother is also fine.
She has revealed that her social media profiles were 'hacked' by a third party which she refused to reveal. After much investigation and efforts by Tay herself to get her Instagram account back, she thanked 'Meta' for helping her with this.
“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I am completely heartbroken and struggling to find the right words to say. It has been a very traumatic 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all the while trying to sort out this mess. My Instagram account was compromised by a third party and used to spread misinformation and creepy rumors about me, to the point where even my name was wrong. My legal name is Tay Tian, not Claire Hope.”
The reason Lil Tay didn't reveal who stole her social media accounts could be related to the legal battle she and her brother are currently involved in with their parents. There have been multiple confirmations that Lil Tay's biological father has been abusive to both of them and both of their parents don't want their children to be online.
