Jennifer Lopez has finally chosen to speak out about her divorce (for the second time) from Ben Affleck, describing it as a positive experience that has helped her grow and become more self-aware.
During an appearance on CBS' "Sunday Morning," Lopez said, "It's the best thing that's ever happened to me because it changed me." She added that she feels like a different person now than she did last year and mentioned that filming "Kiss of the Spider Woman" has served as a refuge during difficult times.
"Every moment on set and every moment I played this role, I was so happy," she said. Lopez admitted that at first she didn't feel good when she returned home, but she learned to cope with the emptiness she felt.
The star added that last summer was a wonderful summer for her: "I had a lot of fun, I can enjoy things more and I realized that joy lies in living the moments and truly accepting life and everything it brings."
