The famous former contestant of "Për'puthen", Aria Duka , was recently invited to the show "Live From Tirana", where she spoke more openly about her love life and relationship preferences.
During the interview, the conversation took on a more personal tone when the moderator asked her about the type of men she likes the most, introducing the discussion into a common comparison often made online between "northerners" and "southerners."
Aria has stated that, from her experience, she has had more relationships or encounters with men from the north, even though she herself comes from the south of Albania.
"I've had more northerners. Let's say northerners, even though I'm southerner myself," she said during the interview.
Asked further what distinguishes northerners from southerners, she did not give a definitive answer, but implied that her preferences are more related to personal experience than to a specific "rule".
In the same conversation, Aria also explained her relationship with southern men, emphasizing that she sees them more as friends than as potential romantic partners.
"I simply see the southerners as comrades, as friends. I wouldn't try to have anything more with them ," she said, a statement that immediately sparked reactions and comments on social media.
Meanwhile, the interview has been widely shared online, with various users commenting on both Aria Duka's direct manner and the ongoing discussion about stereotypes between the south and the north in romantic relationships.
Aria Duka became known to the public from her participation in "Për'puthen", where she was characterized by her 'excessive' sincerity. Asked in a meeting by a contestant how many partners she had, Aria did not think long, saying: I have only had three partners, but I do not remember the sexual ones.
This was the phrase that made Arian known and long remembered by all the contestants of 'Përputhen'.
