Referring to her separation from her husband, Maya indicated that she had a difficult period.
"Some of my songs, I have dedicated to my life. For a period of time I had quite sad moments, I was disappointed and tired. I have a little son, I kept all the sad moments to myself. The son never saw my tears. A phrase of my song says that only my tears kept me company (tears). The heart is a muscle, it needs to be cured. Over time, we take care to cure our heart. I have cured it, but there have been many challenges and losses. Now my heart is in spring."
Asked if she is divorced from her husband, Maya said she is separated, but still in court.
"We are not together, officially still separated by court order. He is the father of my son. He is someone in my life," said the singer.
-Has the ex-partner asked Maja for a reunion?
" He is incomprehensible. He has a difficult nature. I can't speak because he is a person who has different personalities, may he be good for my son, may he become king for my son. That's it. For the son, he helps me immensely (laughs), because he is not there at all."
-What is it like to be a mother and a father at the same time?
"(Sings) I dance as I please, sometimes as a man and sometimes as a woman."
