Greek singer of Albanian origin arrested near Omonia Square

Christos Mastoras, the famous Greek singer, originally from Dropulli, was arrested by the Greek police while intoxicated.

According to police sources, referred to by the Greek press, Mastoras was arrested during the night near Omonia Square.

Police said he was under the influence of 0.83mg of alcohol. Local media even say that Mastoras attempted to leave the checkpoint but was stopped by police.

He will be sent to court for security measures today.
