The serious incident occurred last week in an apartment in Shkodra. According to preliminary investigation data, the 62-year-old is suspected of shooting his wife with a shotgun, causing her death on the spot. Immediately after the incident, he was arrested by the Police.
According to sources from the investigation team, the main focus of the investigation is related to conflicts and jealousy within the couple. However, investigators are continuing their actions to fully clarify the motive and circumstances of the crime.
The court is expected to decide on the Prosecution's request for a security measure against the 62-year-old, while investigations into the case continue.
