Yesterday evening, the grand final of Eurovision 2025 was held in Basel, Switzerland. Austria managed to win the 69th edition with JJ's "Wasted Love", facing Yuval Raphael, who represented Israel with the song "New Day Will Rise".
In total, Austria collected 436 points, a combination of jury and public votes.
Meanwhile, Albania ranked eighth. The international jury gave the Albanian song 45 points, ranking it in 16th place. The French jury was the only one to give “Shkodrë Elektronike” the highest score.
But it was the public vote from around the world that gave the Albanian song 173 points, bringing it to a total of 218 points.
Even the singer who represented Croatia in Eurovision 2025, Marko Bosnjak, voted for "Zjerm" without hesitation, voting for the song "Shkodra Elektronike".
