The late head of "Apple", Steve Jobs, is said to have done a beer test before hiring new employees.
Usually, during a job interview, you have to be dressed formally and we can imagine how daunting it can be to go through a long application process for such a big company.
But Jobs was well aware of this.
The creator of "Apple" wanted to break the usual trend of interviews, where you have to memorize a long list of answers, even giving written answers.
So Jobs had decided to leave the formality behind and be as simple as possible.
Apparently, Jobs did what everyone would envy. He would take potential candidates for a walk and have a drink together and then decide whether to hire them or not.
So instead of asking about the job position, he just asked them what they did last summer.
He wasn't looking for a right or wrong answer, he was just looking to get to know the candidates better.
And it seems that this method of interviewing has paid off, since "Apple" has advanced so much and this is thanks to the employees selected by him.
