After making history as the first representative of her country to compete in the Miss Universe 2025 beauty pageant, Miss Palestine, Nadeen Ayoub, has publicly expressed doubts about the transparency of the voting app.
Ayoub claims that the results of the “Most Beautiful Person” category were manipulated due to a sudden and massive increase in votes for another contestant shortly before voting closed.
She expressed her concerns in a video posted on social media, emphasizing that it was not about disappointment over the loss, but about justice.
“I really want to talk about something very, very important,” she said. “I’m someone who really stands up for justice, I stand up for what’s right, and I will stand up for what I think is wrong.”
She clarified that her comments related only to the application voting system and not to the judges' ratings or the final result of the competition.
Ayoub claims that she printed until about thirty minutes before the close of voting, when an inexplicable reversal of the result occurred.
“Within two minutes, the other contestant received over 20,000 votes, which is very impossible to do unless a lot of people vote, and not very realistic unless it is done within the organization.”
