Neda Balluku has reacted harshly through several posts on Instagram Story, where she expressed her dissatisfaction with the way the song festival is being held at RTSH and the treatment of artists, especially young people.
She stated that the festival has lost its creative function for years, calling it "pregnant for years," but without any new product or real innovation.
According to Balluku, the main problem lies in the fact that young artists cannot compete in the same categories with big and consolidated names in Albanian music, making the competition unequal from the start.
"Young people are not valued properly, and especially established artists are not given the value they deserve," she writes.
In another reaction, Neda also dwells on the often-used argument that "songs compete", openly opposing this idea.
"No, it's not an argument that 'the song competes', when the songs are more and more dramatic every year," she emphasizes.
Balluku does not spare any irony when he mentions Gale's return for the third time in three years to the festival, describing this as excessive, despite the kindness she has towards him, and explaining that the artist is not from Shkodra.
Neda's reaction has sparked numerous discussions online, reopening the debate on the artistic direction of festivals and the need for real change in the Albanian music scene.
