A message we wrote for someone on WhatsApp, we take it to someone else, or send a message, we don't like it, or we regret what we wrote and we delete it. These things happen and are completely normal.
Thank goodness we have that "delete" button because who knows how many people we would fight with.
But if you are on the other side and you are going to read the message that someone sent you, but regretted and deleted, we have a little 'trick'. If you use iPhone, your phone backs up your messages as standard. Delete WhatsApp, install it again and select "to restore chats via the backup". You will see the deleted message.
