From difficulties as immigrants to the trial with the record company, Rita Ora

Rita Ora, invited to the podcast "The Diary Of A CEO", in an episode entitled "I Lived With Constant Anxiety" spoke again about her origins and the Albanian language.

The conversation began with the story of her family moving to England when she was very young. The famous singer was 1 year old and her sister, Elena, was 2 years old.

"I am from Pristina in Kosovo, from a country called Kosovo. It's small, great. I came to the UK when I was one year old in 1991. I was born in 1990 and we were refugees from the war in Kosovo and I've been living in London ever since," Rita told Steven Bartlett.

The world-famous artist has added that there are many things that her parents taught her without knowing.

"For example, the Albanian language, which has always been spoken in my home, so fortunately I can speak two languages. I'm not great in Albanian, but I can understand, read and write", said Ora.

In the same podcast, the Albanian singer talked about problems with anxiety and career difficulties, such as the famous trial with her former record label, "Roc Nation", headed by the famous rapper Jay-Z.

Afterwards, the performer of the hit "Lonely Together" showed how difficult the family's beginnings were as refugees in England, when they were given a room by the state.

“It was a room given to us by the government, and it wasn't a council house, it was more like a temporary house, that's what I remember. Then we moved into a council flat in West London, and then I've lived there for as long as I can remember," the music star said.

She said that her parents, Vera and Besnik, have been so dedicated to raising and educating their children that they have taught them many things, without forgetting their native language.
