This topic came after a statement made by a pastor in Sweden, Sara Waldenfors:
"The relatively new trend, according to which the father accompanies the bride to the altar and hands her to the groom, is not the tradition of our church."
"Although it looks beautiful as a scene, we cannot ignore what it symbolizes: a father handing over an infant virgin to her new guardian," added the pastor in Nylöse, Gothenburg.
According to Swedish tradition, the bride and groom walk together to the altar. Currently, the decision of whether or not a bride can walk down the aisle with her father is up to the priests.
Meanwhile, Armand Peza was invited to the "Invitation to 5" studio, who was interrupted by the other guests every time he started to speak.
According to Peza, the pastor who made this statement wants attention.
As he was saying a tradition when the bride and groom perform the ceremony, one of the guests interrupted him. And precisely at these moments, Peza humorously says that 'he had a lot of fun, goodbye'.
"Few people know why the lady sits on the left arm of the groom when he gets married. It's a seemingly idiotic detail. Most say in their heart, no it's very simple. In the Middle Ages, ladies were even kidnapped, and the muscular man who was supposed to protect them, had to hold them with his left arm and fight with his right. So they are such banal details...", said Peza, where the guest intervened and did not let him finish the sentence.
"We had a lot of fun, we will never forget it. Goodbye, you can't finish a sentence here," said Armand Peza, laughing.
