Rapper Travis Scott has been arrested in Paris after getting into a fight with a security guard.
The BBC reports that the 33-year-old star allegedly assaulted a security guard who tried to stop the two men at the five-star George V hotel. French prosecutors told the media that they have opened a criminal investigation into "unspecified violence" against the guard.
Scott, real name Jacques Bermon Webster, was photographed at Team USA's Olympic basketball game against Serbia. He was pictured next to American businessman Michael Rubin and fellow rapper Quavo, formerly of the hip-hop group Migos.
Earlier this year, Scott was arrested in Miami in connection with an argument on a private yacht. Showbiz news site TMZ reported that prosecutors have dropped charges against him, but he still faces a charge of trespassing.
We remember that Scott is 10 times nominated for the Grammy Award. He was previously in a relationship with Kylie Jenner and the pair have two children together.
In 2021, 10 fans died at Scott's Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas. He did not face criminal charges in their deaths, but remains embroiled in civil cases alleging the organizers were at fault.
Last year he scored his first UK number one album with 'Utopia'.
