Former BBV housemate Bernard Hulme has revealed his adoption story, which has left his followers confused. While appearing on Pardon My French, he revealed that he was adopted when he was 6 months old.
'I was adopted for 6 months, my parents decided not to share that with me, but as life unfolded at the age of 37 I found out I was adopted. That's where a story unfolded...'
Then, he continued telling the whole story:
'I was the only person in the family who didn't know. I was surrounded by love all the time and it was even excessive. So was the care for me. I was the center of attention, always cared for and full of love.
This came from a very special story. I was with my work colleagues from Vodafone in a toy store where there were also some small booths for people to tell fortunes. I was very skeptical and absolutely did not believe in those things but I told my close friend. I did not open the letters but told him a dream that I had been having for over 10 years and it was the same dream from beginning to end, it tells me that your biological mother is looking for you. I was not shocked because I said that this is the reason why I do not go to such places.
He added:
'But when I got home I realized that the curiosity was still there, I just wasn't in shock. The shock came after I actually wrote to my uncle's daughter and told her how long you've known her. She said: I've been waiting my whole life for you to ask me this question. That's when a very difficult period began where I couldn't find myself and on the other hand I was making sure that my family was okay. As soon as I had more or less separated, my father passed away. So a few things happened.'
