Albanian artists have come to the defense of the singer Rigels Rajku, known as Noizy, who was arrested in Lezhë, at the request of the Kosovo Prosecutor's Office, after the barbaric violence against a 'Tik Tok' character, Medin Iseni.
Videos and photos show that Muhamet Iseni was brutally beaten by several people. After the arrest of Noizy, in a scandalous way, some characters who are called artists in Albania, have come to the defense of the latter.
And they started a petition, with which they demand his release:
"Being an artist and a public person does not mean (being) vulnerable and a target for threats, blackmail, insults and image denigration. Today I am #MeNoizyn, the artist who, after being threatened, attacked and verbally abused together with his family, is today unjustly accused by the justice system in Kosovo and detained in Albania.
We respect the institutions, we respect the laws, but how safe should we and our families feel when we see that justice acts with certain standards? When we see that some characters use TikTok and social networks to threaten us even with our lives? Then, they get over their verbal violence and still don't get a thorn in their side? While Noizy, the public figure who has been attacked with attacks from the lowest, is banned without having any evidence against him?
Today I'm #MeNoizyn to protect artists and art. I'm #MeNoizyn to protect the man dedicated to pina and the values that art carries. I'm #MeNoizyn to protect myself and family. Because justice must have one and only one standard", writes singer Elgit Doda.
His post has been shared by many artists, starting from Xhensila Myrtezaj, Çiljeta, Bardhi, Blerim Destani, Ronela Hajati, Loredana and some others, where some of these singers have also collaborated with the singer Noizy.
We remind you that Noziy was arrested in Lezhë, after the Kosovo Police declared him wanted, as he is accused of having raped Muhamet Isen, a TikTok personality from Kosovo, together with some other people from his group, an incident that happened after the end of a concert in Peja.
Along with Noizy was the well-known singer, Arkimend Lushaj or known by his stage name Stresi, who through an announcement on Insta Story canceled one of his concerts due to an arrest warrant issued by the police of Kosovo. Stresi has already been declared wanted by the Kosovo Police.
