The morning show on the Albanian Public Radio and Television has turned into an oasis of consecutive blunders by the two moderators, who were recently fired from their jobs. The 'boiling point' was a blunder on Monday's show, where none of them had any knowledge of the Holocaust and the Auschwitz camp.
It is first the moderator Valbona Mhilli, who incorrectly reads the Holocaust, which she describes as a people, and then her colleague Ermal Qorri, who, in an effort to get out of the situation, finds it impossible to read the name of the camp, with the claim that he does not know German. The mention of the camp in question is a knowledge that for Albanian students begins in school, and undoubtedly in every other step of books, television shows, or even movies.
The video in question was quickly shared on social networks, evoking a reaction to the level of moderation in Public Television, which is the only media that is paid with Albanian taxpayers' money.
On Tuesday, the morning show did not go on air, while other blunders of the two moderators, who seem not to have had the first time making slips and blunders, were also published on the network.
Both of them made a reaction on their social networks, with the claim that they were not fired but had left the workplace themselves, while their replacements were found within the day and will appear on the screen this morning. Between the lines, Mhilli tries to apologize for what happened, even though she says that anyone could be in her place in the same waters.
"From today I am not a part of RTSH. I have decided with full desire and awareness not to be part of the morning program on this screen, which I gave you with so much love and effort for months. This public "lynching" of mine on human slips served as a starting point towards free, modern and quality media in Albania.
Thank you to all of you who have followed me and given me the strength and energy to smile every day on the screen, regardless of the problems that you do not see from your televisions.
I am closing this clarification and "Mea Culpa" with Christ's expression: "Let the one who has never sinned cast the first stone", because it is known that the stone is always thrown first...by the biggest sinners. With love, Valbona. See you", writes Mhilli in her post.
Meanwhile, the other journalist Ermal Qorri is not modest when he says that they found the morning show from scratch and took it to the top.

Such was the reaction of the former leader of the morning show, Matilda Mcini, who writes:
"Clarification: You found the morning show ON TOP, and thanks to your "professionalism" the cove at ZERO! Bring success in life!".
The situation at RTSH has long been problematic, on the one hand with massive layoffs with the arrival of new director Alfred Peza, and on the other hand with the mediocre level that is broadcast on the only public screen in the country.
