One of the greatest icons of Italian television, Pippo Baudo, continues to cause controversy three months after his death. This time not for his career, but for his wealth. Although the will has been opened for a long time, no one has accepted the inheritance.
In official documents, Baudo's wealth is estimated at around 10 million euros. A figure that, according to Italian media, is much lower than expected for the man who hosted the Sanremo Festival 13 times and earned a staggering amount from television.
The real estate alone amounts to over 6 million euros: apartments in the center of Rome, offices in Prati, land in Sicily and Lazio. Baudo has also sold important villas over the years, including one in Morlupo and another in Sardinia.
A large part of the declared legacy goes to Dina Minna, the assistant who accompanied him for 36 years. For her, Baudo was not only a leader and a friend.
He was "like a father." She confessed this through tears after his passing.
Dina accompanied him on his final journey to Sicily, where the hearse was honored on the highway by dozens of citizens.
The question remains: why has none of the heirs accepted the estate? Is the real value much greater? Are there undeclared assets or income that have not yet been accounted for?
For now, Pippo Baudo's fortune remains in limbo... and the mystery of his legacy continues to grow.
