Elvana Gjata

The next guest on Prime Minister Rama's podcast was the singer Elvana Gjata. The singer shared details of her life, from the beginnings of her career at a young age to family support.

Her sister, who is a soprano, has been one of her biggest supporters. So, there were no shortage of jokes between the prime minister and Elvana.

Rama: How is your relationship with your sister, because your sister is into serious music.

Elvana: Why what I do is not serious.

Rama: This is a little…

Elvana: A little crazy

Rama: A little bit...

Elvana: I just got bored (laughs)…my sister has influenced a lot. He said in the family that Ela has a very beautiful voice, then he worked with my voice. She was the first to feed me with music.

Elvana further revealed that her family did not agree with her doing music, as they wanted a different profession for her.

Elvana: I was born in Tirana, my father was a soldier, my mother a nurse. I have a soprano sister who works and lives in Germany. At first, my mom and dad didn't want me to sing because she was an older girl who was a singer and they saw me in another profession for a more secure future. My mother didn't want me in the beginning, I started without my parents' permission. On the night of the festival, I told mom and dad, come and see me. I had the help of my uncle. My sister has always supported me
