The League of Nations draw has once again pitted Albania against Georgia in an official event. A well-known opponent for the red and blacks, as it is among those we have faced more often, even though the history of the confrontations between the two national teams only covers the last 3 decades.
The first match between the teams is actually in December 1994 in our country and started with a 1-0 win for the friends. Since then, there are a total of 15 games played with only 3 wins, 4 draws and a total of 8 losses recorded.
The last time Albania won against Georgia was in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers, when they won 3-2 in Tirana.
