England will be looking to finish their World Cup qualifiers with a 100% clean sheet record, with the final match being played at the National Arena in Albania. But coach Thomas Tuchel insists records are not the main focus.
Thomas Tuchel has not spoken to the England players about any potential records they could set in Albania, as his sole focus is on the hunger to compete and progress towards the World Cup.
Gareth Southgate's successor began his reign with a 2-0 victory at Wembley in March against Albania and ends his first year as coach of the "Three Lions" against the same opponent in Tirana.
England may become the first European team to play at least six World Cup qualifying matches and win them all without conceding a goal, but that cannot be far from Tuchel's mind.
"We didn't say a word about it," he said at the Air Albania Stadium on the eve of the match, adding, "yesterday we made sure to do the training session we had. The quality and mentality of the guys who didn't play was at the highest level, which was a real pleasure."
"It showed me that we are going in the right direction. Everyone is ready to play, everyone is ready to start. The competition is still great, the thirst to be on the field tomorrow. That is the most important thing."
