The Albanian national team held its official training today ahead of tomorrow's match against England at "Air Albania".
Coach Silvinjo and his staff had the entire team available and tried out several tactical schemes and standard shots.
The atmosphere in the team is very positive after qualifying for the 2026 World Cup play-offs and motivation remains high for the final match of the qualifiers.
The Albanian national team will face England tomorrow, at 6:00 PM at the "Air Albania" stadium.
The team's condition seems very good and everyone is ready for the duel against the "Three Lions".
UEFA has decided that referees from Italy will officiate in Tirana. Head referee Marco Guida will be supported by assistant referees Giorgio Peretti, Alessio Berti and Simone Sozza. The VAR will be Marco Di Bello and Valerio Marini.
Albania and England have faced each other seven times before. England have won on all occasions, while we have scored against the 'Three Lions' only once, in a 1-3 defeat at 'Qemal Stafa' on March 28, 2001, with a goal by Altin Rraklli. Meanwhile, England have scored 21 goals against us.
The last meeting between the teams was on March 21, 2025, when England won 2-0 in London. This is the last match that Albania has lost this year, while the national team has six wins (five in a row) and two draws.
England comes in excellent form with seven wins in as many qualifying matches, while they have yet to concede a single goal.
