A few hours before the semi-final match between France and Spain in the World Cup, the father of the Spanish talent, Lamin Jamal, has also been put in the spotlight.
Munir Nasraui has become a protagonist after a tense reaction to several journalists, who approached him to congratulate him on his son's extraordinary performances.
However, the situation did not go as the reporters expected. Annoyed by the cameras and footage, Jamal's father stood up and demanded that they stop the recording and leave him alone.
" Please, don't film me. Thank you ," Munir Nasraui is heard saying in the video that was later widely shared on social media.
He further added: " You don't have to congratulate me ."
The situation became even more tense when the journalists did not leave immediately, causing the Barcelona striker's father to react nervously:
" What do you want, for me to throw your phone away or something? " he said, irritated.
The video of the incident immediately went viral and caused a lot of reactions. Some fans have come to Munir Nasraui's defense, arguing that the journalists insisted too much and that the filming was done without his consent.
On the other hand, some critics have considered his reaction as excessive and inappropriate behavior.
