Barcelona beats Rayo Vallecano with minimal score, Araujo's goal gives the Catalans three points! (Video)

Barcelona won by a minimum score of 1-0 against Rayo Vallecano in the match played today in La Liga, within the 29th week of the Spanish championship. The only goal of the match was scored by Ronald Araújo in the 24th minute, with a header, after a cross from João Cancelo, giving the Catalans the advantage in the first half.

In the second half, Hansi Flick's team increased the pressure and sought a safety goal to close the match, but the Blaugrana attackers were not concrete enough in front of the opposing goal. However, Barcelona's defense remained solid until the end.

Rayo Vallecano had several dangerous chances, especially through Álvaro García, who threatened the home goal, but Barcelona goalkeeper Joan García made important saves to keep the goal intact.

With this victory, Barcelona continues to lead the La Liga standings with 73 points after 29 matches, having a 7-point gap over second-place Real Madrid (66 points) and one match in hand.
