In view of the trial for alleged sexual assault, Dani Alvesh seems to have decided to change his version again (the fifth to be precise).
According to "El Periódico", the former footballer would have decided to support the theory of intoxication, to demonstrate that he acted unconsciously.
On the part of the defense, several attempts have been made to release the former footballer from prison, so much so that Dani has already changed the story four times.
His new lawyer, Ines Guardiola, is trying to file a new statement, according to which the Brazilian was under the influence of alcohol (therefore unaware of his actions) on the famous night when he allegedly abused a girl in a night club.
People closest to the former Barcelona player have reported that Alvesh's lawyers will seek his release because he is innocent.
However, the issue of drunkenness can be considered as a mitigating circumstance, that is, in case of conviction, it can lead to a reduction of the sentence.
To prove Dan's state of intoxication would be a receipt for the drinks consumed by his group that evening.
But that's not all, as "El Periodico" announces, in the trial against Alvesh, Joana Sanz will also testify, with the proposal of the player's defenders.
The model and ex-wife of Alvesh will have to clarify whether the footballer had problems with alcohol and whether he had noticed signs of intoxication that evening during their last phone call.
