Marcel Dezai has been devastated by off-field financial problems and has run out of money. The former Milan and Chelsea player, world and European champion with France, is facing problems with the tax authorities which will soon take him to court.
A collapse following his retirement from football twenty years ago that has now left him practically destitute, penniless and with a 10-year-old son to raise.
According to what "Le Parisien" says, next Tuesday in Paris, Dezai will have to appear before the judge to recognize his last biological daughter, Viktoria, who he had with Kosma Batista de Alcantara (his partner from year 2010 to 2018) and will also have to pay for its growth despite being in a catastrophic economic situation.
The French newspaper tried to investigate his financial situation by talking to his ex-partner, who was quite clear: "Since I've known him, he's always said he has no money." And in fact, the Frenchman currently does not receive any salary, the last one registered was as a sports commentator for "BeIN Sports" which guaranteed him about 8600 euros per month, but since August he has been without any contract.
Dezai must then settle his debts with the French tax authorities after being fined in 2022 for evading income tax between 2011 and 2019, and each month he is forced to pay €5,000 to settle his debt.
