"I meet him regularly", Jean Todt talks about Schumacher: He is part of my family

Jean Todt, one of the legendary Formula 1 drivers who wrote the history of this sport along with Michael Schumacher, spoke to the media today regarding the condition of the 7-time world champion. 

" His family has decided to keep this matter secret, not to answer any questions, and I respect this decision. I can say that I meet him regularly, with love for both him and the people close to him ," Todd said. 

Further, Todt, who was also president of the FIA, added: " Our bond goes beyond what we achieved on the track, beyond the daily work. He is part of my family that today is far removed from Formula 1. "
