Albania will organize a major competition, such as the U21 European Championship, for the first time in history in 2027.
But Albania will not be the only organizer, as UEFA has also designated Serbia as the organizing country, a decision that has brought quite a bit of controversy and dissatisfaction, especially among Albanian fans since the political problems between the two countries are already known.
Meanwhile, in recent days, a working delegation from UEFA has arrived in Tirana to inspect the stadiums where the EuroU21 2027 matches will be held. In addition to the stadiums, the officials have also taken a close look at the training fields and about 28 hotels where the participating teams in the European Championship will gather, where the fields will be located near the hotels.
Forming a “Team Base Camp”. The European Championship will be played in 4 Albanian stadiums, where in addition to “Air Albania” which will host the final, there will also be “Loro Boriçi”, “Niko Dovana” and “Arena Egnatia”. This tournament will take place in June 2027, where 16 teams will participate, with Albania and Serbia confirmed as the host countries.
