Milot Rashica was one of the protagonists of today's match between Besiktas and Antalyaspor, as he would not want to be. If at the beginning of the second half he provided the assist for Ernest Muçi's goal that reduced the difference to 1-2, in the 100th minute of the challenge he became the negative protagonist by wasting a penalty in an unusual way amidst the chaos.
At the end of the match, Beshiktashi won the penalty that could have secured them at least a draw in this challenge, and Milot Rashica was the one who took it upon himself to shoot from the penalty spot in the 11th minute of extra time. The Kosovo striker hit and beat the goalkeeper even though he slipped at the moment of execution, with the referee initially signaling from the center.
But the players of Antalyaspor immediately started the protests around him and demanded that the penalty be reviewed in VAR. In fact, replays showed that at the moment of the slip, the ball shot by the attacker touched the other leg, thus making the goal invalid and turning this into a foul in favor of Antalyaspor. Thus, the referee canceled the goal and decreed the end of the match with a 2-1 victory for the friendly team.
