Armando Broja will watch Fulham's match against Tottenham from the stands. Coach Marko Silva has decided not to have the striker of the Albanian National Team available for today's match.
His absence from the match list surprised many, as Fulham had to activate the Albanian striker in order not to pay Chelsea 4 million pounds. But Marko Silva not only did not put him on the bench, but also took him to the stand.
"Technical choice, nothing more than that. One center forward to start the match (Muniz) and another on the bench (Gimenez). We needed a second striker and I decided to choose Raul. It was a really difficult decision, obviously", he said before the "Sky Sports" cameras before the match in question, arguing his decision.
If Broja was not activated today as a starter, based on the loan clause from Chelsea, the Fulham club had to pay 4 million pounds to the Blues for the transfer of the player on the last day of the winter market.
