On the Austrian track of Saalbach, the women's slalom competition took place today, where the Albanian skier Lara Kolturi also participated. In the final of the World Cup, the best female skiers of this discipline participated, where Kolturi was classified in 16th place.
Kolturi, 17 years old and the youngest competitor, put in another good performance, as she has taught us so often this season. In the first descent, she clocked 56"75', while after the second descent she stopped the timer at 59"60'.
Thus, with a total time of 1'56”35, she finished competing in this race in 16th place, being 3 seconds lower than Mikaela Shifrin, the winner and icon of ski racing. However, in front of such skiers, Kolturi showed that she will be a worthy rival in the future.
During this year, in this discipline, Lara Kolturi has often been classified within the top 15, surprising with her appearance. Kolturi, born in Italy but with an Albanian passport, will also compete on Sunday in the special slalom race.
