After the meeting of the Federal Council of the FIGC, the president Gabriele Gravina, has stated that the first steps have been taken for a court case, where compensation should be sought from the coach.
" I informed the Council about everything that happened in August, regarding the immediate termination of the contract when he submitted his resignation. The council decided to give a mandate to a professional to get a legal opinion to learn if there is a possibility of claiming a compensation , he said.
Mancini, 58, resigned on August 13 from the position of coach of the Italian national team, which he had held since May 2018, citing a lack of trust in the leaders of the Federation, in particular the president, Gabriele Gravina.
