Myrto Uzuni was undoubtedly Austin's hero in the match against the San Jose Earthquakes.
The Albanian national team striker came on the field in the 66th minute and was decisive in sending the match to penalties. In the 115th minute, as his team was losing, the defender proved to be accurate from the penalty spot, restoring the balance.
Uzuni then scored again during the penalty shootout with Austin qualifying for the Copa America semifinals.
The 30-year-old forward has become a leader for the American team. So far, Uzuni has scored 4 goals and assisted on 1 other, being one of the main protagonists and pillars of the team.
