Flamurtari suffered a serious blow today, as they were defeated at home by Besa, putting in jeopardy the direct promotion to the Superiore that seemed certain only a few weeks ago. Fans invaded the field, attacked the Cavaliers' staff and coach Emiljano Çela was hit with a chair, events that will undoubtedly end up before the FSHF commissions.
Aware of a situation that could bring serious disciplinary consequences for the Vlora club, sports director Andi Ribaj is seen in footage provided by "Panorama Sport" after the match trying to remove fans who were attempting to bypass the security forces at the stadium and head towards the locker rooms to attack the Cavaliers again.
The footage also shows Ribaj nervously removing the chair with which Çela was hit, while demanding explanations from the stands for several moments as to how it was possible that such a thing was allowed, especially considering that the presence of numerous police forces was requested precisely to avoid this situation.
