One of the players who has previously worked with coach Rolando Maran is defender Zylyf Muça. The 21-year-old player, who has been wearing the red and black jersey for years, has played for all national teams at all ages, from U-15 to Albania U-21.
Muça has been part of Brescia in recent seasons, where he trained under Maran, the coach who recently took charge of the Albanian national team. However, the defender has not found much playing time under the Italian coach and will have to wait for more minutes at the top level.
Currently, the 21-year-old plays for Trento in the Italian Serie C, as he aims to take the next step in his career.
Despite the situation at the club, Muça will be part of the Albania U-21 squad led by Alban Bushi. The footballer has been invited to two friendly matches against Slovenia and Italy, where the red and black coach continues to test and consolidate the group.
Albania U-21 will participate in the final phase of "EURO 2027" as the host country, so the national team does not hold qualifying matches, but only friendly matches, which serve to build a competitive team for the final tournament.
