Julian Nagelsmann has released Germany's official list for the 2026 World Cup, while the biggest surprise remains the absence of Karim Adeyemi.
Brajan Gruda, Diant Ramaj and Nelson Vajper are also not included in the list of 26 players. All three footballers were awaiting an invitation from the German national team, which has led to them not giving a positive response to the Albanian National Team so far.
It was previously reported that Germany would travel with four goalkeepers to the World Cup, but in the end Nagelsmann decided to leave out the talented Jonas Urbig. The German coach has selected the group with which he intends to fight for triumph at the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA-Mexico and Canada.
On the other hand, the situation could turn into a golden opportunity for Albania. The AFF could intensify efforts to convince Gruda, Ramaj and Vajper, following their absence from Germany's current plans.
